Introducing the new LS3 Stage 5 cam from BTR. Developed in-house using BTR designed lobes, the new Stage 5 cam is the latest offering in the LS3 line up which has culminated from extensive in-house Spintron testing, coupled with thorough vetting on our Superflow Engine Dynamometer.
This cam is not for the weak at heart. Intended for use as a MAX EFFORT NA style cam, in combination with ported cylinder heads, while also using an aftermarket throttle body and intake manifold such as our Trinity series intake. Best results when using a 5" cold air intake tube set up.
If you're wanting brutal mid range and top end power, these are this camshaft's shining attributes. We've seen power figures North of 600hp on our engine dyno in a SBE application when used in conjunction with BTR valve train components and a short runner intake manifold.
Higher than stock stall converter and lower gearing* (when applicable) is recommended along with an E85 compatible fuel system.
This cam requires fly-cutting when using OEM pistons, but the extra labor is key to obtaining maximum performance from this combination. However, fly-cutting is NOT required on a L99 engine with exhaust notches.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can either return your order for a full refund or exchange it for something else, for up to 60 days from the delivery/pickup date. Following are the specific time periods of our return and exchange policy:
Drop Ship Items and Garage Sale Items are not eligible for return.
*Open-box electrical & special-order/custom-order components are not eligible for returns along with drop ship and garage sale items as stated above.*
Order Cancellations: Special order items are subject to order cancellation fees (2-5%). This includes engines, short blocks, and any items that require machine work.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return arrives at our warehouse, please allow 3-5 business days for proper inspection, processing, and refunds to be issued. Please note; we will release your funds as soon as the return process is completed, but your financial institution can hold funds for 1-5 business days after we release them.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, call us at 318-222-7889 and send your item to: AMS Racing, 1020 Barksdale Blvd., Bossier City LA 71111, United States.
Warranty
AMS Racing is not responsible for any labor charges associated with a defect, a failure or improperly installed component. The installer will be liable to inspect and review all components before the installation process. If a defect is found, we will work with the manufacturer directly to have it replaced.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
